Q. SeatO’fresh has used up all the covers. How do I replace it with a fresh roll?

A. Head over to (YouTube video link). If the video does not help you out, feel free to call us. We will be glad to assist you in any way. If you are out of rolls, then give us a call so that we can replenish your stock.

Q. The alignment of the unit is off. How can I get it fixed?

A. This could be due to two reasons:

    1. 1.Loose bolts – Tighten the bolts and see if it fixes the problem.
    2. 2.Incorrectly placed Installation plate – Re-install the installation plate correctly as shown at (Installation video)

Q. I can hear the motor whirring but the cover is not moving. What should I do?

A. This means that the motor is running but is unable to pull the cover inside. This could be due to two reasons:

    1. 1.Spindle is not properly installed – In this case, remove the cover and proceed to ensure that the spindle is correctly installed by referring to (YouTube video link for roll change). Correct placement of the spindle can be ensured by pushing it in till you hear the ‘click’
    1. 2.Extra load on motor due to unintended drag – In this case you will reduce drag by discarding the used cover and replacing the unused wrapped. This can be fixed through the following steps.
      • Step 1: Remove top cover
      • Step 2: Cut the cover from the exit at the left side.
      • Step 3: Remove secondary spindle from the right side.
      • Step 4: Unwind the used cover from the spindle till it is empty. (Use of hand gloves is recommended). Dispose this cover.
      • Step 5: Clean the seat with cloth or paper to remove moisture.
      • Step 6: Push the secondary spindle into place till you hear a ‘click’ sound confirming correct placement.
      • Step 7: Wrap the seat with unused cover from primary spindle and slip it into the secondary spindle as shown at (Youtube video)
    1. 3.Uncut cover on right side – The cover is supposed to get sliced by the protruding section (as shown in the figure). If it does not get sliced due to the cover getting misaligned, then carry out the same steps as mentioned in previous issue while aligning the cover perfectly with the protruding section to ensure that it gets sliced.

Q. Should I connect SeatO’fresh to the main power or use it with the battery provided?

A. We recommend directly connecting SeatO’fresh to a direct power outlet and to keep the battery plugged into the unit. In this case, SeatO’fresh will be able to perform uninterrupted. To recharge the battery, only use the adapter provided by us.

Q. How often should I recharge the battery?

A. If you intend to use the battery as the primary source of power, then overnight charging every day is required.

We do NOT recommend using the battery as the primary source of power. Use it in parallel with a direct AC connection so that the battery serves as a backup when there is a power outage.

Q. The unit seems to be very slow to replace the cover. What could be the problem?

A. This could be caused due to two reasons:

      1. 1. Insufficient charge in the battery – Unplug it from the unit and charge it for at least 6-8 hours.

We do NOT recommend using the battery as the primary source of power. Use it in parallel with a direct AC connection so that the battery serves as a backup when there is a power outage.
